At King’s Dream Business Consulting, we understand that strong communities are the foundation of a thriving society. That’s why we’re excited to collaborate with King County’s Department of Local Services (DLS) to support local community-based organizations (CBOs) in unincorporated King County through expert technical assistance and capacity building.

What’s Happening?
DLS recently issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for providers who can offer technical assistance (TA) and capacity building (CB) to CBOs interested in applying for DLS funding or already receiving it. The goal? Help these vital organizations overcome barriers such as complex application processes, language differences, and organizational challenges so they can focus on what matters most: serving children, youth, families, and communities.
Why Community Organizations Should Take Notice
Navigating funding processes and organizational growth can feel like trying to solve a jigsaw puzzle without the picture on the box. This program is built on principles that ensure support is:
Partnership-Driven, not top-down
Accessible in multiple languages
Centered on respectful, culturally responsive relationships
Flexible and strengths-based to meet each organization’s unique needs
How King’s Dream Business Consulting Brings Value

Let’s Grow Together
Community-based organizations are uniquely positioned to drive impactful change. However, securing funding and building capacity can be daunting. That’s where King’s Dream Business Consulting steps in — providing responsive, culturally-informed, and practical support to help organizations not just meet requirements but exceed them.
