Swept up in the emotion, I didn't actually make it through my full appreciation speech. As the founder and company historian, the words that needed to be said found their way. I've never been one to follow a script.

Grand Opening Speech: "Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed guests, and members of the community,
Today, as we gather here for the Grand Opening Ceremony of King's Dream Business Consulting, we celebrate a vision that transcends capitalistic business ventures. The enemy we combat today is dependency; our mission is economic emancipation.
In this arena, King's proudly stands as a tribe of resistance, empowering individuals to cultivate mental resilience and self-reliance, thereby escaping exploitation.
The foundation of King’s Dream was laid for fringe groups and the marginalized – those breaking loose of self-doubt and societal constraints to tread the precarious trail of self-employment. A frantic lifestyle that involves eating only what has been hunted. Metaphorically. To move into a wobbly building that seems as if it may collapse at any given breath. In pursuit of freedom. For choice. A life of dignity by design. Regardless of our differing belief systems.
King's ethos: Instilling independence, lifting our communities out of the indignities of poverty, and driving human invention to help our species adapt to change. Environmental and social challenges that can be survived with the blind faith and zeal of entrepreneurs.
We stand firm in the belief that a competitive enterprise environment benefits not only businesses but also society at large. Competition fuels innovation, lowers consumer prices, and eliminates obsolete practices and philosophies that harm the ecosystem. Think greed, exploitation, oppression, and all the other diseases of ego that infest our world today.
For the last five years, the team has helped hundreds of small business owners overcome internal biases by identifying stuck points, using a villageous approach to management consulting that encourages progress without displacement. We aim to empower local dreamers and promote decolonial business tactics that uphold cultural sovereignty.
As we transform this historic building into an entrepreneurial achievement center for years to come, our ambition is to equip a wave of homegrown founders across the nation, devoted to keeping the American dream of neighborhood business accessible to socially and economically disadvantaged communities.
Today's business owners demand tangible results and meaningful progress. They seek partnership, not mentorship, in their journey towards financial independence and social impact.
In a world of conformity, King's Dream stands as a testament to independence, resilience, and the collective will and power of the people."
In Sovereignty.
